In brief

I am an associate professor of mathematics at Nord University (campus of Levanger) in Norway. I am affiliated to the Faculty of Education and Art (teacher education).

I got my PhD in mathematics in 2009 from the University of Lyon, under the supervision of Johannes Kellendonk. I wrote my dissertation on the topic of quasiperiodic tilings (such as the Penrose tiling). My main result was to give an asymptotic estimate of the patch-complexity for a large class of tilings obtained by the cut-and-project method.

From 2010 to 2012, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Victoria (Victoria, Canada), partially funded by the PIMS, under the supervision of Ian Putnam. From 2012 to 2016, I was a postdoctoral fellow at NTNU (Trondheim, Norway) in the operator algebra group.

You can read my academic CV here, or have a look at my publications.
